I am an ex-Scientologist. (LONG read)

will- you put way too much privaste information online IMHO.

I realize you have nothing to hide but sheesh.

Perhaps you think those who are most dangerous to you already know everything about you anyway?

Still.. I've never seen so much privacy act information given away by a interwebz savvy poster such as yourself.

I understand your concern. And I appreciate it. But anything could happen to me at anytime. You all need to know I exist. And in the worst case scenario, to know what happened. Which would never, in a million years, be a suicide.

I have no fear for them or anyone. Least of all, the wonderful individuals who have been following along with this thread, like yourself.

I do not need to list my apartment #. There aren't that many.

The press knows, the cops know, my work, friends, family, apartment manager... They all know. But you, who have read my story, should know too. You can tell the world if I cannot.

And as always (when in the neighborhood), the coffee is always hot. Believe that. lol Just PM first.

Cheers!

I just posted this on WWP.

Uhhh... Guys? I think I just figured out something. I'm sure some of you knew about this place already but... My home is only about 40 miles south of the Creston ranch. That's the ranch where LRH died. It's also the current home of CST (Church of Spiritual Technology).

lmao

Now I understand why there are kids with the Sea Org adults. That was the one thing I couldn't figure out. Woot!

New Times SLO | Publishing Local News and Entertainment for over 20 years in San Luis Obispo County

Read the whole thing but if you want to skip to the part about the current status of the base, scroll down to the end where it says "The Ranch".

That is what they mean by "Up-Lines". Not just Gold. CST, Archives... hardcore. They have families there. They make babies. The media focuses on LA and Clearwater. But these are the places where PURE scilons are born. As I'm sure some of you know already.

Fuck!

/tin foil hat on

lmao

edit: This one has pics...

The satellite photo is super creepy...

creston+CA - Google Maps

The grass isn't normally green in this area. You can see that as you scroll out. Also, the CST symbol inside the racetrack is a nice touch.

You all remember how I was talking about the places where they build nuke-proof vaults for LRH's books and such???

That's one of them.

This will give you an idea of the money they spend to do so.

Here are a few other properties for CST (Archives)...

I think someone may have poisioned or drugged me through the water supply. It started yesterday after I brushed my teeth. So today I jumped into a cold shower for less than a minute, not getting any water on my face. Almost right away I started to feel dizzy and jumped out. I feel stonned right now and my skin is burning.

If it gets really bad I will call an ambulence. I think I avoided the worst though.

Also, yesterday I think a guy was trying to kill my dog by poisioning the yard next to my apartment.

It made sence when I watched this.

Also, OSA posted this in my thread on WWP.

NO.
You should stay home and keep an eye on the neighbors.
There's no telling what they will do next.

Also, if you have a dog, disconnect. (dogs are PTS)
Also, curtains can conceal listening devices. If you have curtains, remove them.

I whole heartedly support WillHaven720's cause and have been in contact with him from the beginning. What is the obsession with this thread being somewhere other than the dump? The dump is the very first forum that I access when I log onto sherdog. Sure, you don't get credit for the post count, but who gives a flying fuck about post count. Everyone of you that have posted in this thread have found it in the dump, and many more have read it, judging by the number of views. One of the benefits of having a thread in a forum with a disabled post count, is that you get less fuck tards that come in with their plus juans and general trolling garbage. There are perhaps 5 specific threads that I keep a personal watch on because I enjoy their content, and this is one of those threads. Why taint the openness and fellowship that has accompanied this thread by throwing it in the war room or the OT just for the sake of a post count?

Exactly what I was trying to say. Surprisingly, the one place on Sherdog that Trolls haven't found (or don't care to post) is The Dump.

The funny thing is that most Scientologists think that lobotomies and shock therapies are regular parts of psychiatric care. They are not, and what's more even a five minute trip to Wikipedia will tell you as much.

Lobotomies were only really popular from the late 1930s to the late 1950s, and virtually disappeared from treatment after doctors began to realize that although they did calm patients down and helped some people, their long-term side effects were highly unpredictable, and that newer medications were much more effective.

Shock therapies have always been last-ditch efforts. They are used when patients don't respond to anything else, from therapy to medication. I know personally of people with major-league depression that didn't respond to anything else. Also, today electroconvulsive therapy is done after putting the patient to sleep, unlike how it was done back in (again) the 1930-1960 period when it saw it's major use. There is no pain involved and patients don't have any recollection of the therapy.

This is a recurring theme among Scientologists - they are stuck in a time warp. Hubbard wrote most of his truly influential stuff in that time period, and since his words are canon to Scientologists, they don't really know how to deal with the world except through a 1950s lens. Everything from information dissemination to dealing with the media to how to organize the workplace....all built on vastly outdated methods Hubbard cribbed from a variety of sources in the 50s.

That's why I think the internet will eventually kill this monster - there is nothing in the doctrine that tells Scientologists how to deal with a world that includes such an information network.

I agree, but I also want to say something that may be misinterpreted.

Scientology was right when it came to lobotomies. They are usually highly unethical. So although I don't like the organization (I don't really consider it a religion because religions have to have religious practices), they did do some good by exposing lobotomies and forced shock therapies.

But yeah, Hubbard left them with doctrine that is still set in the 50's and 60's.

OK. Sorry to scare you all. I took my dog to the vet and went to the ER to get lab work done on my blood, urine and a water sample from my shower.

Came back clean. My organs are all good. No poisonous effects in my system. Dog is great.

That was a relief.

Don't worry, my friend.

It could have been a few things. But it wasn't anything fatal so we just have to move on, ya know?

Good luck with everything Will! Keep fighting the good fight. I'd love to see those Scientologist fucks try any of their shit here in China haha. I bet they'd have a lovely spot reserved for them next to the Falun Gong in the Organ Donation hospitals rofl.

That made my night right there. NEE HOW, BITCHES!

A little more info about the celebrities in the church. Specifically, the reason why most can't leave or speak out against them.

Aaron Saxton is my hero.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like you to meet Meade Emory.

He is one of the founders of CST. He was also the Assistant Commissioner of the IRS to Donald C. Alexander (1975-1977), among other things.

He is NOT a Scientologist.

The article is long. But I urge you all to read it as I have for the first time today.

Because here we have someone who wasn't brainwashed as a child by L Ron Hubbard. Who could care less about the results of Scientology. This is where we find a pure profit motive. This IS the top of the food chain for the church. This is where Randy's hard earned dollars go every time he buys a book written by L Ron Hubbard. And where millions more went from my support at Bridge Publications.

This is the answer to the key question of "how does the church continue to get away with their obvious violation of tax and labor laws???"

And that answer is, the right people were paid to protect it. People with ACTUAL influence where it mattered... In the IRS and in the courts.

I cannot believe I was so stupid to think that CST was just spending all the money on time capsules and acid-free paper. It's just like our military budget to spend thousands on a toilet seat or a coffee pot. It's just a front.

It doesn't matter where the money goes. It is the scam itself that ruins lives. So in that regard, this article doesn't change anything.

But it is nice to know who's there smiling at the top.

Acronyms, Will. It seems like a Scientologist thing- try and write them out first.

Btw, the tax laws back then were MUCH more lenient than today.

Sorry Denter.

Anything in particular you'd like me to translate?

That goes for anyone. I will do my best.

CST means the "Church of Spiritual Technology". A supposed non-profit organization that owns the copyrights to the L Ron Hubbard estate.

The royalties (their income) are channeled through two sources. Non-Fiction, which means all Dianetics and Scientology materials. And Fiction, which is handled by CST's fully owned, for-profit subsidiary Author Services Inc or "ASI". Which is ironic because, when the non-fiction sales were down, executives from ASI would show up at Bridge Publications (BPI), where I worked to push sales on the front lines of the churches. The only reason they were there was to inspect and correct any problems they deemed "out of line" to get more sales of religious materials from the Scientology churches themselves.

I will say it again...

The for-profit corp ASI, charged only with the LRH fiction line, came to the LRH publishing house to get us to sell more non-fiction. Because, once again, they are owned and managed by CST. And if CST isn't making enough money... "All hands on deck!"

And keep in mind, at the time (1998-2000), Bridge Publications Inc handled publishing, sales and distribution of fiction and non-fiction books of Hubbard. So ASI's business with BPI should have been exclusive to the sales of fiction works. But it wasn't.

The bottom line in the church (and it's Sea Org managed affiliates), is MONEY. Money from wherever or whomever. I mattered not how many people were actually reading the books. Only that they bought them.

It should be noted that in 2002, there was another publishing company established called "Galaxy Press". And it completely took over the publications, sales and distribution of the LRH fiction line BPI. Making BPI a non-profit organization, outside of the prior tax structure from it's earlier years. Why the sudden change? Besides the obvious monetary reasons and vested interests in church members buying and selling fiction works...

Shortly after the split, the very large evolution was put into motion by the church. It was the re-release of the L Ron Hubbard "Basic Book and Lecture Package". Now, if you ask any scientologist like Randy, they will tell you just how hard the ENTIRE church was pushing it's members to sell these packages, priced at well over a thousand dollars. Parishioners would receive calls or personal visits daily from church staff and Sea Org members, pushing them to buy these packages. Even from management level Sea Org staff who were never supposed to deal directly with public... like my sister.

Many, many of these Sea Org members were taken away from their posts to be put on a this sales project. Suddenly, it mattered less how well the church sold and delivered their actual services (auditing and auditor training), and far more about how it sold and delivered these books and audio lectures.

Multiple packages were sold to the same members. No one at any time was crossed off a list because they had already purchased the package. If they already had one, they needed to buy more as gifts for family members. If all family members had their own, the goal was to get them to donate packages to be put into libraries.

I actually have an unopened set that was given to me by my father. In fact, everyone in my family owns a set. These packages were over-sold and donated to the point where, I've actually heard of libraries selling these packages for 25 cents.

The pressure that people like my sister were put under to sell these books was tremendous. When church staff were trying to sell the package to my cousin (uncle Bob's son), he only paid for the books and didn't have money for the lectures. But that didn't stop them from charging his bank account for the lectures soon after on a Thursday afternoon... WITHOUT his authorization. Once again, Thursday at 2pm is the weekly cut-off for the church and it's staff to turn in their statistics of production to management. And if those statistics are down from the week prior, hell is unleashed upon them from management. The punishments for this range anywhere from hard physical labor to a meal of beans and rice for that next week, or until the stats are raised. And for those too jaded to keep up with this pace, the RPF or "Rehabilitation Project Force" is not uncommon.

So in short, the tax-exempt status of Bridge Publication Inc was granted after turning over the fiction line to Galaxy Press. Then the Church of Scientology International (CSI) released the "new and improved" Basic Book and Lecture package. After which many, many staff and Sea Org were given the personal responsibility of selling as many of these as possible to anyone that would buy them. This was no doubt the biggest push for sales of L Ron Hubbard materials in history. Just how big???

Since July 2007, over 67 million copies of basic books and lectures have been distributed.

You do the math.
