Dude is a warrior, comes in and still takes the fight against an oversized Romero. I don't think it actually affected the fight, but a lot of lesser men would have backed out.

I'll be the first to admit I loved it when Luke lost to Bisping, but this one kind of feels like it's the end. I don't think Luke sniffs another belt in the UFC. He's getting up there in age, striking defense just isn't there, and taken too much damage. Especially after that brutal KO.

I guess this is just me showing some respect for once, IMO Rockhold was the best MW in the UFC for a few years but all the time he took off really shot him in the foot I think. Do you guys think he bounces back from this, or do you agree that's probably the last we see of him as a title contender?

dont he is a doosh in real life

He isn't bouncing back from this. I'm not trying to be a dick, but for me it was the way he fought against Branch. He ended up winning that fight, but he got tagged by backing up without putting his hands up. He isn't fast enough to play that game anymore.

Another thing I respected was that he didn't lose his shit when Yoel went Gay Jesus after the KO and was kissing him. I would have pushed him off the second he got near me and probably been cursing.

I don't, he gets knocked out in spectacular fashion. It's incredible really.

Same.

Really wanted Salt to beat Yoel decisively.

Yeah. After the Branch fight I honestly started writing him off. It was not an impressive victory.

Still my boy

I think Luke moves up to LHW now. He's already said he was going to. He depletes himself way too much to make MW. LHW is weak but there are a lot of guys there that hit really hard.

Maybe he’ll pull a Whittaker at LHW.

Yeah he's dislikeable as fuck but I find Romero pretty annoying too and more than a little bit suspect physically.

Rockhold-Whittaker definitely would have been the more interesting fight. Not hugely interested in seeing Yoel against him again.

dude has holes in his game and gets exploited everytime. u cant be the best if you have shitty striking defense.

I remember when he would talk about moving to LHW and saying he could hang with any of them. Lol imagine what Volkan or Glover would do to his chin.
