If you have someone else in mind (like Perry/Colby/Lobov) keep it to yourself.

To be the first ever non-existing UFC's 195lb Champ. WHO WILL IT BE??

Nahh this is less fantastical than COD Advanced Warfare or Halo Reach.

But they can have pets...like sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads.

You realize, I hope, that many times it depends on one lucky (more or less) well placed punch.
Sometimes, you are saved by the bell.
Sometimes, even if you are in your prime, you have a bad day or your opponent has a style that can destroy yours.

That being said, if it was a championship, where everybody would fight everybody, I believe it would be GSP or Jones (T-Bol Jones, not OSP Jones) or Fedor who would have the most wins. Both have styles that allow them to deal with different types of fighters.

You can make a case for everyone, actually. TJ is a very skillful fighter, so is Cruz.

Couture? No
Sylvia? No
Conor? No
BJ Penn? No
Hughes? No

The others? Maybe, who knows.

Edit:
Yeah, Werdum is a yes.

Yeah, but this was up to see who would prevail if everyone was in the "best shape" and in prime. Maybe I'm not wording it properly (didn't want it to be TOO wordy).

Basically, my idea was this (as I would run it through my head to determine)

Fedor: Do I believe he has potential to beat everyone else on the list more than lose? Y/N
Cruz: Do I believe he has potential to beat everyone else on the list more than lose? Y/N
etc...

Then, the ones I believe WOULD have the potential to win more than lose against everyone else on the list, I would take them down and imagine a fight against them and decide who would be the winner...and continue on until I find myself with an answer.

Intended it to be much more thought-provoking than simply saying "this fighter" because you like him or they're currently ranked high/doing well. I thought it would be a nice way for myself to see how a list of "GOAT" or "P4P All-Time" might look based on the general opinions of Sherbrahhss.

A 195lbs 6'5" Mighty Mouse with 84" reach and his set of skills (including cardio) would wreck shit.

A 195lbs 6'5" Nick Diaz with 84" reach and his set of skills (including cardio/chin) would also wreck shit.

What about Jose aldo vs goku? Or ultimate warrior vs Jesse from breaking bad? Jon jones vs the smell of freshly baked bread?

people's styles and skills wouldn't be the same if they had different bodies...

would be best to just go by weight at that point. you change a mans height and reach then he may go from being ideally a wrestler to ideally a boxer or ideally a bjj grappler etc..

are we just judging brains?

insert fedor computer box meme then i guess

They're fighting at Franklinweight and the list doesn't have Rich Franklin?

If I put the skillset and the speed of a 125 pounder in the body and the strength of a 195 pounder and also exclude the power from a 265 pounder and put him in the body of a 195 pounder I will heve a supernatural superman versus a sloppy midleweight. About as sloppy as the TS

Why would you INCLUDE the speed from 125 into a 195, but EXCLUDE the power from 265 into a 195?

You can easily take the power/speed and correlate that into a 195 body. I figured people would be smart enough to know that the speed MM has at FlyW is somewhat comparable to the speed of a prime JDS at HW (hands) or prime Machida at LHW (movement/hands). Not saying JDS or Machida is "as fast" as MM, but compared to their respective divisions...they're comparable. You could even take the cardio of MM at FlyW and assume that is somewhat comparable to that of a prime GSP at WW.

Now, I'm not a genius or close to it...but I expected any normal MMA fan to be able to use a little brain power and (supposed) MMA knowledge to have an honest conversation and determine who they believed would prevail.

Because Goku would kill everyone. Even a 5-year old could tell you that.

Also, you might want to do some research...because Goku, Ultimate Warrior, Jesse, and bread are not involved in MMA. Goku is a Martial Arts Tournament winner, but that took place in a far off land known in our universe as "anime".
