First at the Press Conf, Werdum just stole the show with this.

You see Vitor Belfort, Anderson SIlva, [Mauricio] ‘Shogun’ [Rua] and all these legends here, but as you can see, on the poster my picture is the biggest,” Werdum said. “That means the event is mine, so I want to welcome everybody to the press conference. Feel free to ask any questions you want, but there is only one request: Anderson will answer a maximum of five questions. Let’s start.”

Then he went forward saying

We are working on strategy, We still have 45 days until the fight, and we plan to fight smart and keep the belt. We have five rounds, and Stipe, just like [Cain] Velasquez, steps forward all the time. He normally uses all his power in the first rounds and gets tired in the third. Of course, I’ll kick his legs, and I think he’ll try to take me down just like Velasquez did. Our goal is to get the knockout or submission as soon as possible and not fight five rounds. We’ll be ready for anything. The most important thing is to get the win and keep the belt.”

It's almost Werdum time.

Stipe is a tough fight but I see Werdum winning. That being said Stipe isn't the same as Cain. He's a good boxer and larger then Cain. Also not sure if I agree with him slowing down all that much

Apart from the crap about Anderson getting five questions and his picture being the biggest, I like it.

He looked gassed in the last round of the JDS fight.

I think him slowing down caused him the JDS fight. So I do agree with Werdum on that matter.

Finishing Stipe will be tough. Werdum should be the favorite because he is more well rounded and Stipe is not a ko artist but Stipe has a very good shot at winning with his skillset.

That said: War Werdum!

Stipe showed good cardio against Hunt. But he did gas against JDS. But that could have been from all the damage he took.
