Hunt is known for his walk off KO's, but tonight I had a bit of an epiphany. It has to be part strategy on his end. With his walk offs he is leaving zero risk of having to engage in the ground game, which obvious to everybody is clearly his weakness. Best case, he looks like a stud, worst case the fighter stands back up and gets pummeled some more. But, if he were to follow up with some GnP he leaves a good size risk of falling into a submission.
Am I looking to much into this, or is this something Hunt strategically does to avoid the ground?
