I know Tito is the laughing stock of MMA in a lot of ways for being an idiot, but I bet he's a hell of a lot smarter than folks take him for. He has made some errors commentating and has cut his hand while chopping veggies, but I don't know that there's much evidence to suggest he's really that dumb.

I'm not surprised, if true. Tito is one of the early examples of good self-promotion by an mma fighter. Probably one of the first to build a brand, beyond just the UFC logo.
