I have Hunt by 2nd rd Ko. I think Mir gets past round 1. However if it goes past that I favor Mir winning in later rounds.

Mir - don't sleep on him. He's been really focusing on his striking lately and the way I see it is if he doesn't get ko'ed by a roided up Overeem or Arlovski (some think he actually won that fight) he has a good chance of not getting finished by a slower - more predictable Hunt. Also, Hunt will slow down after throwing bombs round 1 and 2 so I'd be backing Mir to take over with takedowns and ground game to win the decision or possibly a late sub. Of course though Hunt could always land one good shot and finish it but I wouldn't back it

Hunt these days isnt much better than Mir on the feet but is a total klutz on the ground while mir is still a monster on the ground

so I think Mir should be favoured here I'll put money on him since in my view the odds are incorrect

People have been saying this since Hunt Joined the UFC but still hasnt been subbed since Mcorckle in his 1st fight despite fighting wrestlers and black belts. Mir wins if he decides to go for a sub tho i do agree,the fire isnt in his eyes anymore to trade you see it usually after a minute.
