His easy dismantling of Murr proves he can win the title. He just needs to actually train very hard before every fight and not take fights on short notice like he did with Werdum.

Expert advice.

Train very hard and no short-notice fights.

That's the key though - how hard will he train.

Hunt in legit shape could indeed be champ.

His greatest opponent has been himself, and the buffet tables.

Isnt his favorite restaurant KFC?

Not a fuckin snowball's chance in hell ever

Stipe proved himself to be a better striker than Hunt and that's not even where he really dominated the fight. There's an even bigger discrepancy grappling than there is striking and he's still a better striker than Hunt. And that's hunts bread and butter.

Stipe literally broke the all time, all weight UFC striking record on Hunt like two fights ago

Didnt he pretty much not train for that fight though?

I thought he was doing well against WErdum and that fight he took on short notice.

I don't know. Most of the top 5 guys are 50/50 fights with Hunt now. We all saw the Stipe fight. He's capable of knocking anyone out, but Stipe, Werdum, Reem, JDS, and Big Ben are all tough fights for him.

Fit and vigorous Hunt-o is a threat to anyone.

Dont really see him knocking off Fabricio with his current skill set, which is to ktfo of the other guy. He's the most exciting guy in the division though for sure.

Eh... Maybe..
I don't know. Can't really see him beating the top guys either way, though. Stipe is a nightmare match up for him at any stage of his career.

I think those guys all come in with excellent game plans against Hunt. With a proper game plan Hunt could beat them. Plus even at 42 I think Hunt is still improving.

Werdum is probably the most intelligent fighter at HW. He always brings great game plans. But Hunt was doing well in their fight for a while even on short notice.
