My God. How. That's one of the hardest shots I have seen not to KO someone, going forward on top of that, from Hunt, flush.

Really? I found it in 30 secs I usually just go google, type "hunt rothwell punch" or something like that, go into graphics and there it is. And as far as the other part of your post, I fully agree. That was a godly chin presented by Big Ben at that moment.

Yep. It's why his game plan often involves just walking through punches from his opponents. I'll never forget the Velasquez fight where Cain was hitting him with everything but the kitchen sink and Rothwell just seemed mildly annoyed. The fight was a total one-sided drubbing, but it was one of the worst stoppages I can remember.

Yep, it was Mazzagatti. Rothwell was actually in the process of standing up when the fight was stopped. Ridiculous.

Yeah, I think that fight would make some sense. Rothwell has gotten a lot better since then and is still tough as nails. I don't see it being as one-sided as the first fight and, like you said, with a competent referee it would be much more interesting. For that matter if both guys lose their next fights it would be a sensible booking.

I don't know how Ben wasn't KO'd. That is crazy. The placement right on the chin, the velocity....usually when a guys head turns that much from a punch that quickly, it's all done.
