The top line cruises like Norwegian are wonderful. The cheaper ones like Carnival are shitholes. I went on one last summer with 10 families and the ship was filled with Chinese and huge black group trips. The Chinese were noisy and rude. No concept of lines or personal space. The black groups were drunk and in trouble every day. Fighting in the casino, fighting in the buffets. Treating servers like shit, noisy cursing and smoking Newport’s everywhere. I will NEVER go on Carnival again. The pool was unusable and looked like a wave pool in China. and the buffet was like a war zone. We found one bar in a slightly hidden area and hung out there the whole week to escape.
