Probably the most objective and hopefull stuff I've heard on the subject - and I've done quite a few psy / addictologists rodeos plus one rehab.

10ish days - hell, everything sucks

20ish days - sun show it's mug between clouds on occasion

30ish days - you're close to have done it, neurotransmitters become your friends again ; time for something new

Quite motivated for a sober mars, anyone on board ?

For me the challenge will be 0 alcohol and 0 videogames.

Secondary non hard-line objectives : sport everyday, wim hoff every day (cold showers / breathing exercices), no porn, no phone in bed

I guess I'm going in as a lonesome cowboy ... I'll try and keep it updated \m/

I'm currently on a quest for a life of sobriety, good mental and physical health, and a pursuit of knowledge/wisdom. It's a journey that will for the most part be a solo endeavor; to the degree I want to strive, most people are simply not interested. This is to be expected though, most people have no interest in unplugging from the matrix. Good luck to you sir.

If stuff wasnt awesome it wouldnt be addictive. What are you gonna do replace your fun hobbys with knitting?
but then youll just find him in a tent camp hands riddled with arthritis, knitting with his feet because he cant even grip the needles anymore.

offering to work his zygos just to get hsi hands on some yarn

Drinking myself half dead in front of my computer isn't exactly a fun hobby.

But yeah : kickboxing, outside cardio, reading (french and english) and getting FUCKING LAID !!!

I was talking about the gaming part its addictive because its so good and that is true for all hobby's. I dont game much right now but when the new GTA hits i will be playing 18 hours a day in my free time again just like when Red dead hit. Gotta manage it.

PS : that rat avatar of yours seems a really bad influence. Don't listen to him.

Gaming feels good. Sadly it's a sterile activity.

Shut your mouth smoking is good for you and cant be proven otherwise.

I am a smoker myself and all for humans and rodents smoking. It's just that he have that crackhead looks on him

Rodent pal -> cigs -> marijuana -> crackeroin , a classic

UPDATE

A little fuck up here. I'm new to kickboxing (full contact to be exact) and not having the proper shin guards fucked my foot up last thursday, trying to counter a kick with a shitty sweep (?) and hitting a hard part of a heavier and well protected guy's leg with my unprotected foot. The foot was bad that evening, worst the next day, still all swelled and shit the saturday despite all the ice I put on...

I was thinking broken bone, rehab (broke two bones on that leg in the past ...) couldn't exercise ... the ufc 299 was coming and I said fuck it, and bam, 8 pints. So yeah, I did 10 days sober.

The foot is better since monday tho and I didn't drink more, so there's that.
