I don't listen to Stern very often, but I'm glad to see someone with an audience the size of his supporting the 2nd Amendment, and I'm glad that buffoon of a producer disagreed, just to show how idiotic the argument is against a law abiding citizen's right to own any number of guns and ammo he/she chooses.

I've had similar conversations with people. Why do you need more than a couple-few guns.

Well there are rifles, shotguns and pistols.

There's 3 right there.

Pistols basic models .22, .380, .38, 9, 40, 45, 10mm, 357, 44. Then you have different barrel lengths and set ups.

Rifle basic models .22, .223, 22-250, 243, 270, 308, 30-06, 300Wm.

12 gauge, 20 gauge, 410. Then you got pumps, over under and semi autos of each.

Which of those should people be limited to. All have different purposes. You can't shoot 20 guns at once...

People shouldn't own more than 1k rounds? How do you control that? Is that per caliber they own or just in total? Also what does it matter. Are shooters going to carry 36.1 lbs of ammo(990 rounds m855 in pmags) on themselves? 99.99% is a no. I think only a few examples of this exist but it was in a vehicle, not on a person. The San Bernardino shooter's had 1600-1700 rounds with them I believe. Still less than 1000 rounds per person. They had more at home but that isn't the point I'm making. Even with all that I think they fired less than 100 rounds.

It's just a completely ignorant argument and the people always look stupid making it.
