How wrong or right is this

    Kind of contradicts everything said on the forum about keeping the elbow to ribs when throwing circular punches.

    Thoughts?

    Nah, the point is to keep the elbow to the ribs at the beginning of the motion. It comes up in time for impact.

    YOu shouldn't flare the elbow when throwing a straight when you throw a hook ideally the arm should be parallel to the floor if your elbow is down then you are slapping your punches a la Timothy bradley
