How would the current champs do against

Frank Shamrock vs DC/ jones
Mark Coleman vs Stipe
Rank by which old champ would be the most competitive. i personally believe they all get steamrolled. but i think jens woulda held on the longest

I'll start with what I feel most sure of; Stipe would beat prime Coleman.

1)Frank Shamrock vs DC/ jones: VS DC I could see Shamrock getting a submission. I'd still likely call it for DC, and definitely for Jones. DC by decision. Jones by TKO round 4.
2)Jens Pulver vs RDA: Jens would have a decent chance; great takedown defense, great striking. But RDA has them lethal leg kicks. RDA by decision.
3)Dave Menne vs Bisping: Menne wasn't a longtime champ or anything, but was good. Might be a good fight.
4)Pat Miletich vs Robbie Lawler: the student would whoop the teacher. He's too well rounded and powerful for Miletich. Lawler by TKO round 4.
5)Mark Coleman vs Stipe: least competitive. Stipe could defend some of the takedowns, plus counterstrike, plus better cardio than The Godfather of GNP. Stipe by KO round 2.

Jens is way too small, RDA would likely hurt him badly, especially on the ground.
Pat would be a dinosaur against Robbie. Lawler via KO.
Dave Menne might be the least talented fighter to ever hold a belt. Bisping would make short work of him.
Frank was awesome for his time, but the much larger Jones/DC would brutalize him all around.
Stipe would put on a boxing clinic vs. Mark. I don't see that lasting long if Mark couldn't get it down.

No disrespect to the pioneers. This is just the natural progression of the sport.

Little Evil would be the only one to make it competitive imo but still, I don't see him beating RDA. The rest get beaten quite easily I think.
