How would O'Malley vs Sandhagen go?

Tough call, O'Malley seems hot on himself right now, hard to bet against that confidence.

Sandhagen is very effective and damaging but his output is sort of crap. If he doesn't put O'Malley out, he likely loses a decision. He always finds ways to disappoint in his fights. Losing to a broken TJ like that just really makes me doubt his potential unless he really changes his gameplans around.

Let's say it's 5 rounds. Both have pretty similar builds but very different attributes. I think prior to O'Malley fighting Yan most were saying Sandhagen was superior to O'Malley, does that popular opinion still hold?

I think the the impressive attributes Omally holds over the division, he lacks in contrast to Sandhagen. Omally got a bogus win vs Yan but he did well regardless of corrupt judges. He deserves a shot.

If he beats Sandhagen, he deserves a title shot.

I honestly would have preferred Sean vs Corey or even Rob Font, exciting as the fight was. Would also have been a good fight and wouldn't have this weird jump from fringe rankings to #1

Why do people like keeping the strikers away from the grapplers? Do you see who the champion is? Both Sandhagen and Omalley are pretty untested on the mat vs good grinders, so is Cheetoh. Why not start pairing some of these guys up with Simon? Merab? Umar? Saidyokub? Why haven't any of them fought guys like Stamann or Barcelos on their ways up? Just weird to me.
