How would O'Malley vs Sandhagen go?

Would be a great fight. Both are long and crafty strikers with great footwork. Very different striking styles though.

I'd probably favor Sean in a 3 round fight- I think he's more technical and could probably outland Cory. In a 5 rounder though... Sandhagen usually finds a way to badly hurt his opponent the longer the fight goes. He's extremely tough and has great cardio as well. I'd likely put my money on Cory in a 5 rounder.

It would be interesting because Sandhagen is most effective pressuring and moving forward, and O'Malley is most effective from outside.

I would say Sandhagen wins. That's a fight I would love to see. I think Sandhagen is a very underrated fighter. I think he could become champ with a few breaks. As for Corey vs O'Malley......

I wanted to see this before Sean fought Yan. Now I'd give the edge to O'Malley.

O'Malley has power but is easier to hit, nobody's talking about it but he showed a crazy chin. Yan was landing clean.
Sandhagen looked improved in his last out by being more defensive minded but his offence was lacking a bit because of it.

I'd pick Sandhagen based on his footwork, experience, gameplanning and ability to do damage all fight long but as a Suga hater I wouldn't be shocked if his speed and power dictates the fight like Font/Chito.

I honestly would have preferred Sean vs Corey or even Rob Font, exciting as the fight was. Would also have been a good fight and wouldn't have this weird jump from fringe rankings to #1
