How would Mendes do at 155?

It's safe to say that Mendes wont be receiving a title shot at 145 for awhile after losing to Edgar, Aldo, and Conor.

Should he stay at 145, it may be years before another crack. However, at 155, the chances of fighting for the title is highly more probable.

Could Mendes shake up the LW division? Top 10? Top 5? Possibly champion?

He's 5'6, but Edgar made it work.
 
He has a better chance at 135; lose some of that beach muscle and make the cut down. He'll get murked at 155.
 
Chad is already a turbo manlet at 145. 155 wouldn't even be fair.
 
Nahhh. I think it's less probable. His boxing isn't as crisp as Frankie's and he isn't good and mixing his grappling with his takedowns. Mendes just wings hooks which is something fail to see in his striking. All is punches wide and full power. He gets away with it because he can close distance at FW but there are some huge LW's that would jab him to death.
 
Doesn't he have like a 60 inch reach?
It will look like a manlet version of Rin Nakai in there.
 
Considering he cant beat the 3 best FW's, he's not beating the best 5 or 10 LWs. Mendes could consider going to 135
 
Too small for LW. He'd be overpowered and at a reach disadvantage in most if not all of his fights. As others have said, he'd be better served making some changes in his diet and fitness programs to get down to 135. I think there are some really good fights for him in that weight class and I think he presents a lot of challenges for most of the top guys. I'd love to see Mendes/Dillashaw.
 
He got beat up by Conor who got beat up by Nate and MMA math works 100% of the time, so not very well
 
he is probably 5'4" he is shorter than urijah who is 5'5",almost the same height as pvz .I was a lot larger than faber when I met him i'm 5'8". mendes could fight at 135 lbs.
 
He would beat the Danny Castillos and Nik Lentz's of the division, fringe top 10 guy.

Porier is ranked #10, I could see him beating Dustin.
 
Guida did pretty well at LW, Chad is a better version of him
 
Is it just me or does anyone else wonder if Chad is forever changed? He was the hottest FW in the world pre Aldo and 1 win in last 4 fights. Maybe he has Lombard/Eric Silva syndrome? I just can't figure it out.....so many world beaters look so different now. Maybe too many a shots in the Aldo fight? I just can't understand what happened.

I still thinkhe's got a decent shot at beating any of Aldo, Edgar and McGregor if his chin hasn't completely left him.
