Lamas is a tough fight for nearly anyone at FW. And although I'm guessing Conor would win, I think the fight could be pretty entertaining because Lamas is a bit unorthodox and flashy.

Anyone think Lamas would stand a chance against this guy?

I think it would be a good fight. Lamas's grappling is great, and his stand up isn't bad. He's one of the guys I wanted to see Conor face on the road to his title shot, but it never happened for whatever reason.

Red panty night for lamas, first round tko for mcgregor.

I thought Mendes beat him into retirement last year. Where have I been?

McGregor inside of One after a hilariously one-sided trash talk build up.

McGregor destroys him similar to Dustin Porier, One sided build up to a one sided fight and first round KO.

I actually would put some money on Lamas for this fight since Conor would be a heavy favorite. I see Lamas submitting Conor in Rd 3.

lol. Lamas was overwhelmed by the magnitude of the Aldo fight. If he fought McGregor: Implosion. He might not even make it to the cage

If Lamas can take Conor down it would last a couple rounds. If Lamas can't, he would get picked apart.

I think he would secure a few takedowns and make it into the second or third round before getting smashed by the left cross.

pretty rudely imo.

lamas would get pwned.

Pretty swiftly, Conor would in all likelihood finish him in the first.

He's a worse version of Mendes. Less athletic, worse wrestling, worse striking......so yeah not well

He;s better than short camp mendes, and that may prove to be good enough.

Conor would only fight Lamas as a short notice replacement. That is as long as Lamas wasn't training for a fight.

Him not showing up in the biggest fight of his life against aldo told me a lot about a Lamas. Didn't even try to win. He ain't beating the elites, he's not on that level. Mcgregor would crush in him inside round 1.

Lamas is bigger than Mendes and has some nasty GNP, both of which could cause Conor problems. But he isn't as good a wrestler as Mendes, nor does he pose the same KO threat on the feet. Conor by KO/TKO in the first or second.
