How would GSP vs Rich Franklin have gone? Similar to what Anderson did to Forrest?

GSP would get KTFO. There is a reason he never went up in weight, he can only win by lay n praying for 5 rounds.

If GSP can't be bothered to try his hand at those types of fights then I can't be bothered to speculate either.

Forrest was the #4 LHW and held the belt less than a year before he fought Anderson. He had wins over Shogun and Rampage. He was certainly a top-tier LHW, similar to Rich after Anderson dethroned him.

Rich was basically walking around looking like a bodybuilder, so I would guess the random testings would not be good for him. I think that Version of Franklin (untested) would cause huge problems for the current (tested) top MWs. For a Ww... even GSP.. he would just be too big And powerful.
 
I think Ace wins by TKO. He's the much bigger and stronger man not to mention he has much better striking technique.
People forget Ace used to fight at heavyweight. And I don't care how good GSP technical ability is.

Considering GSP never moved up to MW, let alone LHW, to prove this, I'm going to have to take anything Rashad or anybody else said about it with a huge grain of salt. GSP's wrestling was very dependent on him being able to overpower his opponent. I think his hesitancy to ever take a fight at MW was a pretty clear indicator that he didn't believe he could overpower someone substantially larger than he was.

Even though GSP never wrestled as an amateur, he had very good technique. Jake Shields wasn't nearly as explosive, yet he took down Hendo (who fought at MW/LHW/HW) multiple times. (Ironically, Hendo beat Franklin via wrestling and LnP). I don't think it's as simple or clear cut as you think.
 
Franklin would have a punchers chance and a slim one against prime GSP.

You are totally missing the point. Of course Forrest is bigger than GSP, but GSP's wrestling is SO MUCH better than Forrest's

As we all know, Anderson destroyed a former LHW champ, who was one fight removed from being champ (Forrest Griffin), in less than 5 minutes.

The equivalent of this was for GSP to move up to MW and face a former MW champ like Rich Franklin.

Who would have won between GSP and Rich Franklin? Would GSP have destroyed and embarrassed Franklin in the 1st round similar to what Anderson did to Forrest?

Franklin would have stiffened GSP if they were to fight and GSP knew it. That's why GSP never moved up in weight for some "showcase" fights during his prime like Anderson did.

Would he embarrass them like silva did Forrest, no, it was never his style.
