How would Conor have done if...

Depends if the UFC gave him the same Yellow Brick Road they gave him at FW. Pretty much any elite fighter could easily rise to champion level if every single fight was tailor made for them to win. It’s only at the highest level where you might actually have to fight somebody that is your Kryptonite. You certainly will at some point. That’s why longevity at the absolute top is so hard to maintain.
Not a Conor fan but dude fought some killers at FW.

Like whom? 20 year old Max? Depleted Dustin who ducked into a shot? Out of the woods from a hunting trip, Mendes?

Oh wait.. I bet you mean Siver? Yeah, you got me there. All those guys were undefeated monsters at the time. Everyone was even the reigning champ, too. How could I be so silly?

Just a little common sense, and context goes a long way. I can’t discount the Aldo win, but if they fought a thousand times. That result, that quickly would never be repeated. Then Conor never fought in the division again.

Would any of you have the confidence to put down your life savings if Conor had to fight LW Dustin (Ridiculous), 2019 Max (Exponentially more mature in his game, and life. And not injured in round 1), or full camp Mendes (Way better gas tank)? I fucking doubt it.

That’s not to say he couldn’t actually win any of these fights, but come on. Change those metrics up just a bit. I’m confident you would have seen different results.

The Dustin, Holloway, and Mendes fights all have asterisks beside them. If you don’t realize that, then you’re delusional.

Do you think he’d beat the Max of 2019? How about a full camp Mendes? We know for a fact the Dustin of 2021 demolished him. Get off the magic flute. Either look at it all objectively, or don’t look at it at all.

Delusional? Magic fluke? Did they just go from being complete bums to champions? Jesus.
They were all a significant step up from fighting in Cage Warriors let's be honest.
Are you saying the versions of Holloway, Poirier, Aldo and Mendes were all bums?

Max, Dustin and Mendes were considered tough matchups for Conor at the time. The odds were close and i actually picked against Conor in all of those.

Let's look at this way, who should he have fought on his way top of the FW division that would be considered real tests?

Aside from Frankie, i cant think of anyone. Common sense is exactly what im trying to use here, but your hate seems to be clouding your judgement.

I agree Conor is a dirtbag.

Would have gone like 1-5 probably. he only can win against tiny little men, about same size as a 13 year old boys in person. lasted 30 seconds with number 38 ranked UFC LW Joe Duffy

I know youre absolutely obsessed with conor and he makes you irrationally angry, but that's not what "asterisk" means lol. the fight didn't happen in 2019 so why are you talking about 2019 versions of people? he beat all 3 of them fair and square at the time. there is no asterisk besides maybe juiced up mendes not having a full camp. you need to take your own advice and look at things objectively for once, because you outright refuse to give conor credit for anything ever just because he upsets you

Would he have become champion? The reason I am asking is because Conor worked his way up from the bottom of FW so if he did the same at LW and fought the top 10 then what would have happened?
That's my point. He didn't work his way up from the bottom of FW. He fought a very selective group of non-contender non-grappling 145 pounders before being given a title shot against a long standing champ he matched up well against.
