Do you think Alexander the Great would have conquered China if he went all the way to the East to do so? There's no breakdowns of this fantasy fight on Youtube for some reason.

Here you go Sherbro, a good discussion on that scenario

The general consensus among the neckbeard Reddit historians would be that it'll be similar to if Mighty Mouse fought Ngannou. Mighty Mouse is much more skilled but they are in vastly different weight classes. There's just too many Chinese soldiers for Alexander to overcome

Probably, if:

1) He went straight into china after india, instead of dicking around the desert and losing half of his army
2) Did not die in battle from being too ballsy during initial engagements

There is a hypothesis that he died primarily because he was planning another desert campaign, and his army would not have it.

<mma4> and then into a movie
After a quick research
Alexander the Great era was around rhe same time of the End od the Zhou Dynasty with King Nan and the beginning of the Qin reigns.

So would have been interesting AF lol.

I need to start reading more about it.

I'm going to Wikipedia it LOL

From a bit more reading, China's armies, even with separate different kingdoms are used to having much more massive battles than Alexander and that China back then was already a gigantic kingdom with a massive population compared to everything else in the world.

Ok and it looks like they've already had gunpowder for hundreds of years before Alexander's time.

china sends him packing
no shame though Macedonians were a force of nature
him and his father are based as fuck
I might actually like his father more for putting Athens in their place

I can't believe there's no Youtube video discussing this. I think it's an extremely interesting point of discussion.

Alexander would have never made it through India even. And even if he did, the vast distance, treacherous terrain and then having to deal with a war harden warring states of China would be the impossible.
