How would Aleksander Emelianenko have done in the UFC?

I mean...right now I would put money on Alek over Cormier, Blaydes, JDS, Lewis, Volkov, Overeem, Harris...I think Stipe/Ngannou/Roz would beat him but would be entertaining AF.

Considering his only good win is Kharitonov in a fight he was on the verge of getting stopped in, and he lost vs Barnett, Werdum and Cro Cop (pretty much the only top guys he fought), and is probably the most overrated fighter ever based on actual accomplishments and not some fantasy "potential" and his GOAT brother who said nice things about him - he would have been a so-so UFC hw. Won some against lower tier comp, lost when it mattered.

If I remember right he was still very new to MMA when he fought most of those guys and he beat the crap out of Barnett for like 10 minutes. If his fight with Barnett was three 5 minute rounds I think he would have beaten Barnett pretty easily. The long first round took a lot of gas out of Aleks.

Timmy was way too slow, Aleks probably would have caught him all over the place and finished him. AA would have pieced him up though, although Aleks had power and AA didn't have much of a chin then...so who knows.

I don't see AA doing well against Aleksander. Aleksander has faster hands and is far more durable.

Aleks is a rapist, racist, drug addict and one of the most overrated fighters on this board who praise him based on nothing but fantasy bullshit.

Possible.

From the video footage I saw of them, Fedor was getting the better in the stand up and ground. Not a blow out but he was clearly the better.
Fedor, if I really did read that, may have just being his normal humble self.

At least he is not a lying coward on Sherdog like you though.

His own brother, Fedor "family most important thing in life" Emelianenko considers him dead as of now. What else can you say, lol.

If he focused his natural fighting ability / height / reach and strength. Combined with his Sambo background at a hardcore mma gym such as ATT he would have had a decent shot at claiming UFC heavy weight gold. As everyone mentioned his hand speed for heavyweight was and still is incredible.

That's a very big if though, even Fedor commented that Alex would skip trainings.

Back in the Tim Sylvia / Arlovski era, Alexander could definitely beat them both with his better boxing, footwork, and chin.

Great mention of Alex's Sambo background. I totally forgot about this. He was very talented and moved like a cat for such a big guy:

Fedor admitted Alek’s would often get the better of him during training.
That's great, but no matter how good he was skipping training is a no go for a professional. Couple the skipping of training with "styles make fights" and the likelihood of him being champion in any major organization was reduced to damn near zero, no matter what camp he was in.
