I get the Rampage reminiscing... but why Rory? Dude is in his 20's...

If Rory's career ended now, I'd remember him as an underachiever, given his huge potential. I'm still a fan though.

As for Rampage, I'll remember him as a brawler who used to harass female reporters and drive the wrong way.

Rampage has one of the craziest records in MMA history. Win or lose, he fought some of the biggest names in MMA history.

I first saw Rampage in a King of the Cage match. Ken Shamrock was sitting with the commentators and by the end he was screaming "I love this guy!". I was a Rampage Jackson fan from that day forward. When he beat the brakes off Chuck in 2003, he was possibly the best 205er in the world.

He had his disappointing moments though. HIs last fight with Queen Mo really pissed me off. He talked all kinds of shit and then showed up super fat and was awful. I try to block that fight out of my mind.

I'll remember Rampage as an exciting knockout artist that complained a lot.

My fondest memories of Rory are 1) giving Condit a tough fight when he was pretty much unknown and 2) getting taken down by Mike Pyle, in deep water and then turning the tide and absolutely brutalising Pyle winning by ko.

Rampage 1) constantly complaining about wrestlers yet in pride would wrestle his opponents 2) hammering an unconscious Wandy deeper into the canvas 3) addicted to knocking fools out 4) coming back to the ufc only to go back to bellator.

I'm not bashing Rampage.... i just don't really have any great memories of the guy

Rampage has been broken down for years now. When was the last time he even attempted any wrestling? Hendo? His knees are probably just done, and he clearly doesn't have the mobility. In my opinion, his career span as a top level fighter ended around the time he fought Rashad. It's just a testament to how tough he is that he can still compete with top level competition at all.

Most of these modern Bader, Phil Davis types will never be on that level of guys like Rampage, Hendo, Chuck.

Why is his record crazy? It's not close to being the most amount of fights, the least amount of fights, the most wins, the most losses or anything like that. What is it about his record that makes it so crazy? Please clarify.

I honestly thought Rory was going to be the next superstar in the UFC.

He seemed to be on the fast track and then sort of hit a plateau, albeit with some tough fights against game guys.

Rory-warrior, extremely talented, serial killer vibe

Rampage- Exciting personality, legend, bit of a whiner

Rampage is one of the funniest dudes on earth. And he's a warrior and great fighter.

And Rory gave us one of the most amazing UFC fights ever in his fight against Lawler. lol @ UFC letting him walk.

“My style is to whoop that ass!”

Rory as a guy who outstruck wrestlers and outwrestled strikers, but when he couldnt get the takedown he got his ass kicked and then went to bellator where the competition is easier

Rampage, some of the best Hands of mma history, good td defense, limited groundgame and near 0 kicks.

Entretaining personality and reporter molester
