Right? just buy over priced albums and massive import fees, it's exhilaratingShould just be like a normal person and buy vinyl

Nah the guy is a fucking moron. No one gets burnout from listening to music
If he wanted some recommendations he should ask
He is a fucking bell end
Makes absolutely no sense to meWrong
I own over 10,000 CD/records/tapes, been at it since the 60;s, had to have shelves buit to house it all. I'll go a few months where nothing interests me then out of nowhere.....BOOM....it hits me and then I can't get enought.
So speak for you.
Dude just talking music here so relax, chill.....ok?
Don’t tell him to listen to shit he’s already heard. Da fuck?New stuff sucks, don't bother.
hit your highschool playlist and feel happy.
Makes absolutely no sense to me
And I'll chill when I chill, you're not the authority around here to be telling anyone how to post. Don't get above your station
I get like that now and again. I combat it by pressing play on every song I see. I've found so many gems this way. The worst thing that could happen is hearing a song you dislike. The best thing, you might get a new favourite band or song. The reward outweighs the risk for me.Been into a huge burnout recently, used to listen to hours of music every single day and shuffling multiple genres, now i don't feel it anymore neither i am looking and searching for new stuff. What could be the reasoning?
Maybe start from Rubber Soul/Revolver if you don't like the sound of their earlier stuff. Those albums still have that, but it's a lot more diverse instead of the album appearing one note, like their first might do to a lot of people.I've been doing this a lot in recent years, giving albums a chance that I never did when it was released. Not fucking Radiohead though. I started to do the Beatles from their first album but it was massively underwhelming so I knocked it on the head
Yeah I do intend to, I just found it so uninspiring. If I want to listen to the Beach Boys I'm listen to the Beach Boys. Maybe they just hadn't found their own sound at that pointMaybe start from Rubber Soul/Revolver if you don't like the sound of their earlier stuff. I've had the same problem over the years. I'll go for walks with my dog and enjoy the silence until something changes and all I want is music. Something as stupid as new speakers or a real good set of headphones could being back some interest too.
I can't comprehend how you could burn out on music.
Are you stuck on one genre and fuck all else?
I'm in a chat with two metal heads, one I worked with 10 years ago and one I've met once. We all keep each other in the loop of new releases and the like, our interests overlap but out of us 3 we cover brutal death metal to regular rock and everything in between.
The Jukebox is good on here, I get recommendations from the metal thread all the time, heaps of great recorded music still being made (though the poor artists make absolutely fuck all out of it)
That's true, as i hate listening without headphones...
used to be stuck on metal for WAYY too long.
I've loved metal but listened too much of it this year tbh
