How times have changed.

Charlotte has Triple H promo syndrome...take 15 minutes to say what should take 3. She just drones on and on and on...it's fucking awful. As for her work...at one time she was undeniably one of the 3 best women in the company in the ring. That's not longer the case though. It seems like she's let her hype and success go to her head. She seems to legit feel every bit as entitled as her character does...much like her dad she's let the gimmick become real life...that must be what's in her blood. She's gotten sloppy and lazy in her matches, and at times even reckless. Anyone who can't see the change isn't paying attention.

As far as anyone being better than Charlotte in the ring...Asuka is the obvious example. When it comes to working a match, no woman in the company can touch her and Bayley is the only one who comes close at this point. They've gone out of their way at this point to make sure we all know Charlotte is the one person who will always stand above her though...so I don't think anyone wants to see that feud again. Rhea is a weird one. She's really good if you book her in certain types of matches...but weak as hell in all others. She's not a throw her in there with anyone, any match kind of performer...and much like Asuka they've made sure to cut her legs out from under her when it comes to Charlotte. They hammered home the point that Rhea is beneath her and we should never get invested in her taking the top spot. Other than that...they've made every other woman on Raw look like an after thought...so we're stuck with Charlotte droning on and on in promos and squashing anyone who shows potential. I guess we're going to get Bliss next...whoop dee fucking doo!

Now as for whether Nikki deserved the spot or not...that a separate argument. I don't think she did either. Sanity Nikki was a fun character with potential, but that ship sailed a long time ago, and Nikki seemed to regress in the ring tremendously when she was paired with Bliss. At this point the only saving grace she has is that her ass is fantastic.
You’re talking to a guy that was out of the game for a while, so bare with me lol. I’m just basing it on what i have seen the last 6 months, on Raw. I agree, Asuka has the chops. But where is she at? Serious question.

I guess, i shouldn’t say she can cut a good promo, but she gets the idea of being a villain. When the crowd was chanting “Becky” at MITB, and she told them all “Becky’s home breastfeeding, and I”M HERE” Stuff like that tells me she gets it. I read someone suggest that Bayley manages her while injured, I liked that idea. They are starting to squash Rhea. The female lineup on Raw is rough. Put a gun to my head, i think Charlotte should be at the top of the heap.

Last I saw Asuka was hitting up mom and pop restaurants down here in the smaller non Disney cities...which I can say from experience is a great way to find good eats...but that's neither here nor their. It seems like she's finally been given some time off for being the COVID MVP last year and carrying some much of the load.

I want Bayley as far from Charlotte as possible because the inevitable turn and Charlotte buries her again is a forgone conclusion. Becky is probably the only person Charlotte hasn't stolen all the momentum from and Becky's below her in every way except sexiness.

I'm not saying I wouldn't have Charlotte above Nia Jax or Dana Brooke...but that's not saying it's a good choice. Shayna's been ruined, so she's an non factor at this point. They burned that division to the ground and Charlotte's constant place at the top is a big reason why.

I don't know what the answer is at this point...they painted themselves into a corner by having Charlotte kill everyone else's momentum so now they're stuck...and unfortunately so are we.

No further argument here. Well said. Unfortunately, doubtful we get changes. Just look how badly they just buried Bianca when Becky has been back for 5 mins. They are out of touch on many levels and go back to the same ol. Although, i did enjoy several moments at Summerslam.

Yeah...that undid months of work building up Bianca...ridiculous. I'm still of the opinion that Summer Slam was a decent episode of Raw masquerading as a big 4 ppv.

Moments i enjoyed: Becky return (not once she got to the ring), Edge/Rollins (edge’s entrance was dope), fans hating Goldberg and cheering his son getting ragdolled, and I enjoyed the Main Event as a whole. That’s about three more moments than every other PPV this year haha.

It was a decent show...just didn't really seem like it was very important...other than I guess the two returns nothing seemed like it would matter.
