Oh stop it, you don’t need to lecture me on the history of weebery. I’m aware of the few anomalies in MMA of fighters being anime nerds, but to pretend anime is in integral part of MMA history is not only disingenuous but flat out laughable.
Also you missed Josh Barnett in your tangent.
With the exception of Barnett and Adesanya, everyone of those anime geeks have been middle of the pack fighters at best. The point being that I’m not concerned with what fighters do on their own time, but rather the annoyed by the fanbases they drag to the sport. Anime geeks spamming the sport are no different than the WWE crowd who crossed over. Usually ignorant casuals who don’t know the least remote thing about actual fighting other than kamehamehas and jutsus.

I showed you a whole anime opening that is anime theme from an org when it was the leading mma view in teh world. I hope I you read both posts with many other anime nerd fighters.
Oh, you probably didnt read the second post then. Bendo and Pettis are not middle of the pack either, don't be weird those were champions in ufc, and one ended up on a Wheaties box.
Also, I intentionally tried mentioning over a dozen fighters so you don't pretend there's a few, and ended up naming more than that. I did not leave out Barnett, You can easily go an google hundreds of more fighters in mma that are weebs.
Also, the WWE thing, don't pass out but.. every single mma fighter that wrestled in colege has a huge love for Por Wrestling entertainment from childhood to adulthood (yes that includes dc and jones who buy tickets to every WrestleMania) ...
