How stupid will you feel if Lesnar defeats Hunt?

I'm quite frankly sick and tired of all this bullshit from Lesnar haters and Hunt fanboys alike.

Analyse the fight, break it down, use the evidence we have to hand to pick a winner and an outcome. Stop letting blind hate for Lesnar's other career choice or this idiotic notion that Hunt is an elite MMA fighter cloud your judgement.

I personally have Brock winning and I'm a much bigger Lesnar fan than Hunt, for sure. Although I say that, I'm not ignorant to the fact that he's been out of the cage for years, this won't be an easy fight.

Any of you idiots who think that the UFC want Lesnar to lose are extremely naive. On paper, stylistically, this is a perfect fight for Brock without it being considered a mismatch or a gimme fight. The UFC chose Hunt for a reason!

If Lesnar takes Hunt down and lays on him for 15 minutes, or instead pummels him into next year with his lunchbox fists on the ground, what will you all say then?

This is becoming Conor, Rousey-esque in it's hate and fandom.

Cannot wait to see the egg on your faces if Lesnar wins, because I'm not ruling out a Hunt victory at all, but most of you guys are just completely writing Lesnar off.

Sounds a little like Lesnar's debut right, was never going to be able to hack it right?

We shall see...

WAR LESNAR! ... but I hope it's a good fight, and very good luck to Mark also.

Not stupid at all. It's literally a coin flip between a walk off knock out and some vicious ground and pound.

I'm picking Hunt but I wouldn't be surprised if Lesnar win this...

It will be another huge Sherdog implosion/meltdown! I cannot wait!!!

Brocks UFC championship material...Hunts not.

Enough said

See, that's you being objective, which I appreciate.

I'm pretty much the same as you, although I think there is a higher chance of Lesnar taking no punches and getting him down, than some miracle takedown stuff and a walk-off knockout.

It all depends on Lesnar, and not Hunt.

i would be surprised because lesnar has been out over 4 years from the fight game and is taking on a killer. He should gas quick and get ko''d but he was on that juice in wwf so who knows

well I'm sure that's not necessarily directed at me but I think Lesnar is gonna lose. here are reasons:

1 - we know Hunt. we know what he is capable of, we know what he struggles at. at 42 years of age, he is still hanging at the top for the very fact that he has precise and very powerful striking. compared to lesnar, hunt is actually quite well rounded.

2 - we don't actually know lesnar anymore. it's been too long since he fought, we don't know how much training he put, if his skills are improved, or what. we don't know if the deal with the UFC was something he wanted, or just decided to do it because the money became too much to say no to.

3 - since we don't know Lesnar, his motivations and what to expect from him, but we actually know Hunt and how tough he currently is, it's easy to see how most people think hunt is going to win. with Lesnar there's a lot of questions. I wouldn't be surprised if he threw a Bob Sapp kind of spectacle and went running back to WWE with all the money.

not ruling lesnar out of course. but when I make throaway comments about hunt destroying him, those are the reasons.

Hunt seem motivated and in a good shape tbh.

I don't know about Lesnar.

This. I can't stand Lesnar and am rooting for Hunt. But either Hunt keeps it standing and Lesnar gets KTFO or Lesnar puts Hunt on his back and pounds him out. I don't see this fight going the distance and I think that it really is a 50/50 proposition.

Not stupid my fellow brethren. @BC 206 and I know Hunt isn't making it out of that cage with his consciousness intact.

I think Lesnar will win, maybe even easily, but I was hated on because of that.

Huh? The only people who give that much of a shit are nut huggers of either guy, which would make them stupid.

If Brock wins it'll be a good thing cause there's a chance he could fight again. If he loses he'll surely retire from MMA, and nobody wins in that scenario.

Join The Revolution mang. We aren't worried of being hated on and we know Lesnar is going to vanquish poor Hunto.

Not directed at you, no :)

But, I will retort to your points.

I understand that we don't know where Lesnar is at, but Lesnar doesn't need to have improved to win this fight. If Lesnar is still as athletic, large and skilled in the wrestling department, then this is his fight to lose.

People keep going on and on about this killer that Mark Hunt is, quite simply, he isn't. He knocks people out who have sub-par striking and disgraceful striking defence, or in Mir's case are completely over the hill and out of shape.

Are we honestly sitting here and naming wrestlers that Hunt has beaten, because last time I checked he has beaten 0 elite wrestlers.

The only KO on his resume that really gets a huge round of applause from me is Nelson, and even Nelson isn't elite.

Hunt is entertaining, he's a nice guy, he's super powerful, he has nice hands, but he is frankly overrated by all these PRIDE/K1 fanboys who think that he is still as good.

He wins this fight if Lesnar has lost it, not because he's going to become Cain Velasquez overnight.

If you've read my posts since Brock was announced for UFC 200 you know I expect Brock to win. So many people are expecting a Hunt "walkoff." I expect Hunt to be carried off, feet first.
