How significant was that eye poke from Rose to the pace of the second round though?

You could clearly see this shit on the replay after the 2nd round. But the dumbfuck referee didn't call for a break

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it meant jack shit in the grand scheme of things.

Lost her the fight, never recovered, scarred retina, heard she’s blind now, fight should’ve been stopped and JJ should’ve gotten the DQ win.

That cover it all? I miss anything?

Except for the "blind" part, you're 100% correct, thank you very much! Have a nice day

Not at all. Rose was winning before the eye poke and during the remainder of the fight.

Coo, glad I was able to give you the answer that would let you sleep in peace tonight.

Now get to bed, but just know that when you wake up JJ still won’t be champ nothing could’ve changed that except being better then Rose.

Still very dirty move and it look like she did it by purpose.

Whoa, 2edgy4me. You sound insecure

I'm a huge JJ fan. I'll still root for Joanna Champion in every fight she's in, but Rose earned that victory. Rose proved to be better twice. Rose doesn't look physically imposing, but her demeanor, work ethic, and her ability to sponge training at a crazy fast rate give her the edge. Congrats to her, she earned it. Still love Joanna though.

The hand on the eye didn't bother her. It was the punch immediately after that hit her in the eye. Watch the fight again. They even did a replay of the punch after the round.

Honestly jj is a damn good fighter but you can tell that rose is a bit faser and hits harder. It wasnt really a fluke the first time. She just met a girl that has her number and there is nothing terrible about it. Down the road Rose will probably lose to another girl.

There's been a number of times when it looked to me like Joanna's fingers have been at her opponents' eyes in previous fights. I found this photo, but I think there were some questionable fingers vs. Gadelha and Penne too.

Can't remember about Gadelha, but when she was getting out of clinch with Penne she was shoving her hand into the Penne's face, yeah. But I thought it was more about blocking the breath of the opponent than poking the eyes. I mean eventually Joanna never eye-poked anyone in her fights.

Whatever Rose accidentally did to her left eye was much less of a fight defining issue than what Rose intentionally and repeatedly did to her right eye.
