it's crazy how different cold brew tastes. a good friend of mine never drank coffee, always hated the taste, but tried cold brew recently and is all about it now

Yea, has considerably less acid. That is why I started it, not because i dislike the taste of hot coffee, but helped with acid reflux since I drink a LOT of coffee lol. Once I made the switch, basically cured the reflux

It depends. I have been trying different ice coffee sources from home. The funniest one is this black zero sugar coffee from Korea. It comes in a big ass bag with a nozzle. It's like box wine. I have to use some stevia for that coffee because it is sour. Cold brew is alright once you get past the stale coffee taste.

I pour sugar in first and fill half mug. 1/4 mug cream an 1/4 mug coffee. On occasion I add Carmel syrup if it's not sweet enough.
