I dont know how much contracts vary in that regards but I remember seeing that x fighter was making 1-3$ per buy, increasing as the buys went up.

It was something like: <300k = 0 300-450 = 1 450-600=2 600+ = 3

Jose seemed really business dumb when he talked about it. UFC probably paid out 5 mil to Aldo's people, but his handlers get it and disperse it in ways that Aldo is unaware of. He talked like he just waits for them to give him his check and has no idea who gets a cut before it goes to him and how much they get.
