How much money do Fighters charge for endorsing?

So for argument sake, would it be acceptable to offer a fighter 5 k to endorse a brand?

Also what about Instagram post?

For example, would it be acceptable to offer 250 bucks for a single post mention? In this scenario, lets say the fighter has 10 k subscriber.
Just ask the fighter to push your product. Question sound pretty specific.

How does this work?

Is this affiliated marketing in a sense?

I would be down to split the profit with someone with a name.
Yes, it is a form of affiliate marketing.

Here are some examples from fighters that have fewer than 100K followers.

A nutrition book. They endorse it and I am happy if they make the lions share. Their gets people through the door and that is all that matters.

I guess the question is if that is the most effective way to get eyeballs then...

If your goal is to maximize buyers without caring about how much of a profit you turn then targeted Facebook ads probably would go a lot further than some random UFC fighter. But picking the right fighter might take your money further but it’s a toss up because you wouldn’t be able to analyze who is the best candidate for what you can afford.

Sponsors care about exposure most of all, in the past they were paying for access to the UFC platform.

At first UFC didn't charge "access fees" and there were small businesses who would sponsor fighters for the heck of it. Then the fees got higher and higher.
