My cable bill is around $226 a month.(this includes internet) Does this sound about average? I have thought about ditching it for awhile but I really do use it quite a bit.

Jesus Christ.... no wonder millenials are cutting the cable cord.

you pay 200 bucks for cable? holy fuck

THAT!!!!!

That is too much.

God damn.
That's a small overseas holiday every year.

I pay $60 for net, $15 for Netflix.

My internet is 100 DirecTV now 35 after at&t discount

110 after taxes. fiber optic internet, a shitload of channels and 2 hd boxes. No landline phone

My current bill is $300 for tv and fiber optic net. So, yeah I guess. But there’s three tv boxes and two internet thingies in the house lol.

$140 for internet and cable.
been wanting to ditch the cable, but haven't yet for various reasons.

Anyone got that gigabit internet? I really can’t see the purpose except to upload huge videos but curious all the same. Mine’s 250gb a sec so fast enough for me.

Those imperialist pigdogs would have to pay me a handsome fee to watch their ad box

After all my deals/contracts expired I was up to $180 for just TV and internet, only one cable box/DVR. Once hockey was over I ditched TV and now my bill is down to $89 a month for just internet, no contract. While that is still a lot Comcrap has a monopoly on my apartment complex and I don't feel like dropping down to 25mbs.

Their TV rates were insane with all the bullshit fees they add on, I don't think I will be going back even when sports season starts again in the fall. High quality streams are too easy to find. Plus I have access to family member's TV credentials where they have everything+premium networks which is nice.

I recently checked out the available internet speeds with Cox communications for my area, and their most expensive was gigabit at $115 a month.

No idea what speed I'd need to stream 4K Netflix or play games online, but $115 seems like overkill.

Maybe if I was married with a few kids, and we all used the internet on various devices at the same time.

But then again, families who are all on the internet at the same time... sheesh...

Only need 5-6mb a sec for HD streaming. Why i always wondered bout that gigabit speed. I don’t worry bout 4k cause I sit close enough to my tv to not give a shit.

Mines $195 with internet and most premium channel's.

I've thought about dropping cable and going with a different service, Kodi or other streaming set up but I find cable to be convenient.

I'm down to 165 a month for cable, internet and phone in a bundle. Still way too much, I think. I'd like to drop everything except internet. I think that runs about 80 on it's own.

You're gonna go blind.

I don't like the idea of paying for channels I don't want. I only watch probably less than 10 channels regularly. Most of the time there's nothing on I want to watch and On Demand is often flaky.
