How Much is Michael Chandler Getting Paid?

How does anyone know what Chandler is being paid/? He hasnt fought, hasnt had a reported payout and I dont see him saying what he's making anywhere so how exactly does anyone get a number?

Dustin said he's getting paid more than him and Dustin was doing 200K/200K against Hooker.

Yeah

All time LW great Eddie Alvarez

What a bum.

Doesn't sound like you know much about mma outside the UFC bud.

If you don't realize Chandler has been an elite top 5 fighter for years, you don't know what you're watching.

Study SKILLS..not orgs or records.
Eddie Alvares? That's all you got?

I’m not complaining about how much Chandler is being paid, thou I believe both Tony or Dustin would whoop him.
But don’t compare his situation coming to the UFC with Shogun’s, cause they’re absolutely not the same. And Shogun eventually got the belt, Chandler is never touching the UFC belt.

Shogun lost in his first ufc fight to forrest goddamn griffen. A lot of people said the same when alverez lost Cerrone in his debut. Time will tell, I have been proven wrong and surprised in the past myself. maybe it could happen to you.

Well, yeah, “anything can happen” is at the same time a wise and a weak argument.
Shogun losing to Forrest was completely unexpected and was later avenged.
No one expects a Chandler UFC LW champ. It can happen, but he’s clearly an underdog.
And just to remind you, we were talking about why it’s not the same thing someone like Shogun getting to the ufc with a higher pay than the veterans opposed to Michael friggin Chandler.

How does Dustin really know what he's getting? Do they have the same manager? Did Chandler tell him?

Ferguson has 29 Pro fights. Been fighting since 2008.

Poirier has 33 Pro fights. Been fighting since 2009.

Chandler has 26 Pro Fights. Been fighting since 2009.

They all have similar experience except Chandler has the less fights. The only reason Chandler is getting payed more is because he was a champ. But both Ferg and Poirier would have been champ if they fought for Bellator.

Look what happened with former champ Ben Askren. UFC's roster is on another level so lets see what happens with Chandler in the UFC first.
Gaethje, Woodley, Lawler, Luke, DC, etc etc.. have come over and settled in as Champs in one way or another.

They probably gave him that much because Bellator was making a deal to keep him as well.
He said his deal with the UFC isn't his biggest that he's had in his career initially. Which to me, means he has elevators in his contract, based upon performance in various aspects. He wins, his pay goes up prob 25-50k with the option to renegotiate if it's a title shot. Id assume his contract is a 150-250k per fight on a 50/50, with a equal or similar signing bonus.

Well, under UFC, there's no sponsor money. Coker let's them rep whoever they wanna rep. Maybe that's part of it.
Most fighters in the UFC, still have sponsors and sponsor rewards in some form.

If you laugh at Eddie Alvarez

Says everything anyone who knows mma needs to know.

Easy way to expose that you don't know shit.. lol

Leave it to people who know the sport to make the assessments casual.
I laughed because that's the only guy you could name off his record and use as an argument. And correct me if i'm wrong but Chandler last lost to him.

Look kid, I never said Chandler isn't a great fighter, and yes, believe it or not I do know who he is and have watched him fight. But pipe down. Poirier and Ferguson are as much if not more deserving than Chandler.

Imo he deserves more than Poirier and Ferguson.

He's been an elite / top 5 lw for a long time. Just in another organization.

I see him as a bit more established than those two.

Although Poirier has definitely carved a name for himself recently, Chandler has been at the top for a lot longer.
and he's a buy out, so add 100k. I say its about to be expected.
