How many pullups can you do in a row ? Be honest

What's yalls bodyweight tho?

After just getting back into training I'm at 19 reps @ 230 lbs

At this point, I can cleanly do 25 clips in the tuck L position.

Have never bothered to see what my max is, but probably somewhere in the 50 range - if I'm just doing a standard straight hang.

When I first began my routine I was only able to maintain 8 per clip cleanly. It took some time and effort to build up to where I'm at now, but now I'm pretty beast with it. I work multiple grips and do a minimum of 150 over the course of a full workout.

Here's a good vid (not me) with some different grips to work on for whoever wants to start a routine. They're a great workout that will develop multiple muscle groups:

EDIT: Just got home and tried a no warmup max. Got 43. Last five or so I didn't have very good form. So my max is a bit under what I guessed up above. I think I can get it though if I were to go for it more often. I'm like McGregor/Poireir/Pettis size, so I don't have a whole lot of weight to haul upwards.

Pull ups would be a daily routine for me when I transfer to my new place. That & swimming. I need something to occupy my mind now that BJJ is a no go for me.

I don't regularly do them but when I randomly decide to do them I do dead hangs and usually 3 sets starting at 10 then usually 8 and 6. When I used to do them more frequently I think I could do 15 max. I think next time I get back into lifting I will incorporate a more strict routine to improve on it.

Pull ups are the overhand grip which are harder for me. I can do maybe 15. I don't focus on trying to do as many as I can though in my routine I do 5x5 with my legs holding a 40lb dumbbell. Chin ups on the other hand are much easier I'm sure I could get into the 30's-40's.

Using strict form like this, 10.

The vast majority of people don't do pull ups properly at all and that's numbers drop dramatically with strict form. Same with press ups. I used to cheat and was humbled when doing them properly the first time.
Depends on how tall you are, and how long your arms are. You pull until you get a contraction in your lats. I pull until I clear the bar and thats where I get a full contraction.

23 reps wide grip pull ups
16 reps wide grip pull ups with fat grips
5 reps with a total weight of 250lbs (at a BW of 170)
1 rep of 290lbs (same bodyweight)

The fudge is the difference between chin up and pull up?

hand orientation (the way you grip the bar - in or out)

I can do 7-8 and I am in shape guy (I just do other exercises since I don't have any place to do pull ups at) - issue with pull ups/chin ups is that you have to do them on a regular basis or number of your repetitions drop real fast..

Just so we're clear as most people I know confuse pull ups and chin ups.

Chin ups is narrow grip, underarm technique-which I very rarely do unless I want to burn out the biceps.
*Most people don't do full arm extension but what ever.

Proper Pull ups is a wide grip, over-grip technique - which is what I do. Full extension up to a 90 degree angle. None of that leg shaking shit either.

I can do 12 clean pull ups.

I've never done them to see how many I can do.... Haven't done that for dips or push ups either. For pull ups I usually do a couple of sets of 12-15 as a warm up and then do my working sets. I actually prefer to add weight by holding a dumbell with my feet as opposed to wearing a weight belt. Last time I finished 8 reps while holding a 50lb dumbell. Bodyweight fluctuates between 176-180 right now.
