Its got to be the most abysmal ppv card I have seen in a long time lol I'm curious to see the ppv buys afterwards. What do you guys think? My guess will be around 60k buys total, which is awful but who is going to pay for this card, seriously... Sucks for title holders like Holloway but not exactly his fault.

Main card:

Holloway vs Edgar
Cyborg vs Spencer
Geoff Neal vs Niko Price
Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs Arman Tsarukyan
Marc Andre Barriault vs Krystof Jotko

What a shit card smh they can't all be great but why try to get people to pay ppv bucks for these fights, going to be lowest ppv of the year

Not sure

Imma buy 10 just to help them out a little bit
They deserve it

Old standard it would have done 180k - 220k

ESPN it'll do 80,000 tops. UFC 236 had Holloway vs Poirier & Israel vs Kelvin and it did 100k buys

200k maximum.

I;m a lot more interested in how 239 did in the Uk!!!!!
Absolutely no talk about it. I'm guessing it did like 20k buys at the extreme maximum, possibly closer to 10k.

150K to 175K. There are ZERO cards that you will see cross 300K buys unless the following people are fighting:

Conner, Khabib, DC, Jones, The Diaz Brothers, Brock, GSP

Thankfully for UFC, ppv buys outside of Conor doesn't mean much to them anymore. With this new deal, espn gives the ufc guaranteed money equivalent to 500k buys every event, then the ufc takes the bigger split for the actual number of buys so if this event does 80k then it technically did 580k.

Before espn+ maybe 150k. Now, probably like 80-90k.

Woah, thats news to me. Do you have a source for that info? If true, then ESPN truly fucked itself over signing with the ufc, the ufc brass gonna play them like a bunch of chumps with cards like these.

Crazy how people are saying it will cross 100k lol theres no way, just no way, ufc 236 did 100k and 236 was actually an amazing fight card on paper. Have a feeling this card might be the lowest selling ppv of the modern era

i'm sure it would be a better business decision to give it away for free? and if they did, then another better card would be the lowest PPV of the year

I've never heard that number before. Do you have an article or source for that?

There are multiple articles, FrankieNYC (rip) talked about this a lot in a thread and broke it down. That's why he never took the "ufc is dying" people seriously, the ufc are making more money than ever before. The only one getting conned here is espn. Plus tv deals is their biggest money maker plus that new Abu Dhabi deal. Hell even bt sport numbers show that more people in the UK are joining them to watch the ufc that's why they (the pricks) are starting to charge ppv for certain cards.
