Given he took the fight on 6 day notice. How many lbs above 155 would he be allowed to fight at?

Does Khabib have the final say on fighting him, say if Max came 7 lbs above?
 
Title fight, both fighters must weigh 155.
 
155 is the fight weight. If Max is over, Khabib doesn't have to fight him, but will.

If he’s 7 pounds over neither guy can win the title. If he’s 6 pounds over khabib can win the belt
 
I think that 161 is the limit for Max for the fight to still be sanctioned if Khabib comes in at 155.

Khabib will be forced to fight him even if Max comes over weight.... Otherwise, Khabib gets no money, no TS... Heading into ramadan... With both champs out.

If Khabib doesnt take the fight, he will have to count on the UFC quickly finding him another worthy opponent which might take a while... Perhaps Ortega

I believe Max should come in 7 lbs above and have a better shot at beating Khabib even if he doesnt get the title!!!!!!! He adds tons of popularity and is still a champ at 145.

Who cares if Holloway comes in 7 lbs above! Hes a warrior for taking this fight on 6 day notice and nobody would question his work ethic!

7 lbs at weight in, is a 10-12 lbs difference come fight night! HUGE difference maker
 
For Khabib to win the title he must be 155.

But Khabib said the fight will go ahead at161 if Max could not make weight. Are all of you pretending he did not say that ? Obviously Max could not win the belt in a title fight if he is over weight. But the ME or card is salvaged.

Did you people actually miss where Khabib said this ?

And don't you think Max wants that title too?

He said a few hours ago that he will be able to make the weight. And I am convinced he will.
 
Max has never missed weight in his life. He'll be fine. It's Khabib you need to be worried about especially after firing his nutritonist.

yoel romero vs luke rockhold, max holloway vs anthony pettis, title only on line for the person who made weight but were within 6pounds.

to be honest, with all these interim titles real title, etc. etc, a title fight doesn't even intrigue the regular fan anymore

all we want to see is a good scrap, that is it.
 
Holloway probably needs to come overweight and with loaded gloves to have a chance in this fight.
