I just read a quote for the Judge saying "even though Watson sexually assaulted many of these women, he did so in a a non violent manner" WTF?!?! I'd rather have them tell the truth and just say he's a really good NFL QB, therefore he won't be punished.

I knew yesterday it was gonna be the under when Watson's legal team made that announcement. The NFL is a joke, Watson is the new face of privilege and entitlement.

yeah this says it all: "The Browns anticipated Watson to be suspended for at least part of the 2022 season and structured his contract accordingly, loading most of his $46 million compensation for this year into a signing bonus. He will lose only a portion of his approximately $1 million base salary."

I had hoped the lawyer thing yesterday was just because she was going to give an 8+ game sentence and the NFL was still going to do an appeal.

I mean it was obvious guys. As much as i wanted him to be suspended a lot more, there's no way the Browns let Baker go to the Panthers without some sort of indication this was the likely outcome.

Hence why i bet everything i had remaining on this being the outcome.

Hopefully the NFL appeal process does something 'good'
