How many games will Deshaun Watson be suspended???

Yikes. Cleveland letting go of Baker might mean they're confident Watson plays this year? Or were they not considering him their emergency backup in that scenario already? I'm not sure why he would want to, but...

I think it's an indicator of Watson only getting 6-8 games. IMO. They would never have put Baker on the field regardless. Also the Browns agreeing to 10M of the contract and Baker foregoing 18.8M might have just been where the negotiations were finally at.

Having Baker and Darnold on the same team is pretty strange tbh... No matter what one of those guys is gonna be upset. If you could only combine Sam's size, and athleticism, with Baker's toughness, and throwing abilities, you'd have a pretty good QB.

it’s obvious the USFL had a huge impact and dual QBs are coming back.
 
So, the discipline officer is female and we have alleged female sexual assault victims. This reminds me a bit of the election of the first black president. There was no way in Hell that Obama was going to legalize weed even though that’s what lots of people were anticipating. He was going to act just like every other white president before him.

Now this woman in a position of power just might feel like she’s under a similar microscope. She might feel that she has to dish out the same punishment that her white (probably male) predecessor might.

Having said that, I don’t follow the NFL and we’re in a cancel-culture world.
