They let a novice like punk fight and possibly get seriously hurt yet .2 fuucking lbs is just a no no when a 41 yr old man kills him self to make it.

UFC and the commission pick n choose who they wanna go by the book with.

What a damn joke this sport has become

no offense meant, but just because you don't understand all the subtleties and nuances of the various situation(s) doesn't mean it's a conspiracy.

this thing today sucks. on that i think we can all agree.

The novice is fighting another novice and the 41 year old signed a document saying he could do it.

Lashing out and having a temper tantrum because you don't understand the rules... bravo.

Non title fights have a 1 pound allowance, aka they can be up to one pound over.

Title fights require fighters to make the exact weight.

Did you just make a straw man argument with cm punk as the
crux of it?

Punk made weight....one has nothing to do with the other

Sitting on a stool, pouring water on himself, shitting his pants, getting busted for banned substances, missing weight.

It seems this guy has some kind of issue every fight.

every state has it's own commission

and they haven't stopped him from fighting

Here's a solution: Be on weight the first time you step on the fucking scale.

Oh no poor old man killing himself to fight smaller guy at 185 GTFO of here with your bullshit

none of it should be allowed the majority of the fans support it though

Fuck off noob. You do know the UFC doesn't have a choice right? It's the athletic commissions decision.

Lol at having a title shot and missing weight.... twice.....

Right? Stupidity. There should be a 1-5 pounds margin of error.

Weight cutting is for cowards anyway.

If you gives the fighter +5 pounds weight margin.. they would still fail making weight by 0.2 lb

<{hughesimpress}> Those weight cutters today want to enter in the cage as big as they can.

I've always felt it was kinda dumb that you have to be EXACTLY 155, 170, etc. For title fights. If you were still allowed the 1lb over this would be a non issue as Romero was 186lbs on his initial weigh in. That's no excuse for missing, he signed a contract, I'm just not a fan of taking away the 1lb allowance.

And if you give a pound allowance he would've likely showed up a pound heavier. These morons take their cuts to the absolute extremes

Great advice for the generation raised by movies and welfare.
