How many dangerous groups in the world today? Isis?

It seems the world is at a relatively peacefull place. Not that many dangerous groups ,wars, or enemies.

So why is it hard to finish off a group like Isis or other dangerous groups.

There are not that many radical groups in the world today , some In Africa , most in the middle east.

And to add crazy to the thread, the kkk and nazis are big news when they are heard. People rage if they see anything ralated to them like a flag or tattoo.
Today it seems like the kkk and nazis are not what they use to be. They are not a large number in jails. Don't seem to attack often.

Now compare them to other Hate groups like ms13, bloods, ect.
They are a present day hate group, one gang are made up of illegals not even supposed to be in the country. Initiations call for attacks on certain races.
They are a huge contributor in present day violence and drugs, make up a large portion of jails.
And you see their flags, colors, graffiti, and gang tattoos flown openly.

Why such the discrepancy between the groups .

Today there are present day groups like nazis and kkk, people are so naive to even acknowledge it.

I agree in a weird way. I have always respected Islamists more than street gangs and even christianity to some extent. At least they actually act on what their book tells them to do instead of cherry picking. I know it sounds weird to respect radical Islam but I do respect their convictions

Take a cause you're most passionate about...
Be it the environment, israel/Palestine, global warming, Boston Red Sox, abortion, etc...

Would you be willing to quit your career, say good bye to your family and go half way across the world to fight for it?

Most of us would say no.

Kind of like that group Sea Shepherd. I may not agree with all of their causes but man they raise millions of dollars, get big ass ships and sail the Southern Ocean for months at a time all to stop whales from being killed at the expense of possibly dying themselves. You may not agree but man it's hard not to respect what they are doing.

Also as I sit here I cannot think of one cause that would make me leave my family if there was a 50/50 chance of me not coming home short of a group invading my town or maybe my block

Like it or not, we need ISIS. There's nothing more dangerous to the state than citizens who are content. They might just figure out that they don't need to be protected by their government.

Threats are necessary to justify the existence of our over-blown military and police forces. A lot of men would be out of a job without the likes of ISIS. If men are meant to protect women and children, then they must need a suitable enemy to protect them from.

As a military-trained Western man, I couldn't be more pleased with our Middle Eastern enemies. I can scare the women and children with stories of their evil deeds, and make myself appear increasingly relevant in a society where the males are emphasized less and less by each year.
