how many aggressive counter-strikers are there?

Mike Tyson, Manny Pacquiao, Anderson Silva, Izzy

Dunno enough about boxing to comment definitively but I dunno if I'd call Andy/Izzy aggressive. Andy's lack of pressure is what made people that refused to engage him on the feet (like Demian and Thales) result in those lackluster fights. I think he is a better example of a classic counter-striker.

islam is damn good.
His grappling is aggressive but in terms of his striking I think he is more of a classic counter-striker. First Charles fight is a good example.

Yes this is a question from a guy who grapples but hasn't struck in years, so I don't know the answer and lay off if there's one that is apparent.

Also, yes, this is a thread that is based on Sean Strickland. Him being an aggressive counter fighter seemed to me to be a bit of anomaly so I wanted to make this thread because I'm trying to see who else has that style.

I can think of plenty of counter strikers throughout MMA history... but NOT aggressive pressure guys that ALSO are counter guys. Are there more or is Sean's style that rare/strange?
... ... ...Lomachenko?

John Lineker uses a more pressure style but also gets people to attack for him to counter and is obviously aggressive/explosive. He'll come with a jab or lead left hook etc. but when his opponent strikes he often lets his hands go in combinations.

Machida is probably the most effective I can remember as of now - AS included - but Im open for other names.

Suga Sean is the most dangerous right now. Like one poster said his counters end fights
