165 would super stacked and would allow for more champ vs champ match ups. Both 155 and 170 have over 100+ fighters. Those divisions alone have more guys then the entire Bellator and Rizin rosters combined. It wouldn't water down the divisions. If anything both are so stacked that it causes log jams in those divisions.

The potential match up are pretty good.

Plus you never know who will find their way to the top of those divisions being all the fighters that are stuck in between 155 and 170.

Should be never.

So probably later this year or next year.

I'd much rather see 240 and 280 classes.

Yeah more weight classes so more top guys can avoid each other.

There needs to be a complete re-configuration of the men's and women's divisions. You can't just jam another division inbetween 2.

No more divisions please, if these "pros" can't make weight agreed than that's on them. Too much are we now trying to accommodate for failure rather than discipline it.
This obsession with multiple belts or this champ vs champ stuff is diluting MMA as is.

Maybe 165, 175 and then change 205 to 195 or 200, make a 220 class and remove the upper weight cap on the real heavy weights so they can roid and eat more.

Would much rather have fighters, entering the cage the very same weight as they weigh in at.

just redo the whole thing

175
185
195
205+

I can't see that happening. Until the Ali Act is implemented in MMA. I could see a body creating new universal weight classes that all organizations follow. But as for the UFC as the only body that does it, I don't see that happening

This is all nonsense. Just because your favorite fighter can't win in a real weight class we don't need to coddle them like spoiled children.
