How is there still no date for Fedor vs Sonnen and Bader vs Mitrione?

I miss the old Bellator.....on every Friday night like clockwork.

They are trying to put a big show together for Sonnen vs. Fedor, whether that's at MSG or somewhere else. So until that date and venue is set there will be no announcements.

like I said before the tournament started, there is no way in hell the tournament finishes in 2018.

It seems as though they stopped announcing new fights after their Rome card due to this new distribution deal coming up. They will probably start rolling out cards at the June 26th conference.

There are only 3 fights left and we just past the halfway mark of 2018. It will happen.

I think it will be October. It'll be too late to get pumped for an August announcement this late, but I could be wrong.

September will most likely have the Rampage-Wanderlei fight as it's front runner, Bellator will probably avoid putting two big fights on a regular tv card.

They’re probably already planning the MW tournament. Rory, Mousasi, Shlemenko, Carvalho, Manhoef, Kato, Shilling, Lawal. No takedowns - No Mercy!

Given Coker's history, I'm not surprised it's not completely organized and with an urgent timely timetable. At least with the SF tourney they already had a HW champ crowned and a less frequent TV schedule. But here Bellator has a more frequent consistent TV schedule and Its been years since Bellator had a HW champ and this is to crown the HW champ. So, you'd figure it'd be a little more timely and organized then SF but again I'm not surprised that it's not.

Or you could look at it this way. There are two rounds of the tourney left with the very first (1/3 of the tourney) being finished in a half a year. So there's 2/3 of the tourney to go in the same amount of time the first 1/3 took.

Two HW fighters will have to have two fights within less than a half a year now. Mind you, that most of the remaining participants are older guys that take longer to recover and this is the HW division where injuries could conceivably be easier to get training and then fighting other big guys. It's almost July and the next round of fights have not been announced yet. If they are announced and take place soonish it would still be up in the air as to how long it takes for them to recover and for Bellator to announce and schedule the final in a much more timely fashion than things have been done so far.

I forgot it was like that at one time. I remember watching it in spanish...The inconsistancy is one of their biggest faults right now.

Isn’t there like a big press conference coming up? Could they possibly moving to a new network? What’s this distribution deal I’m hearing about all the time? Is this domestically or internationally as well?

Why blame the Coke? Maybe they are waiting on network executives.

Also assuming it gets announced at this upcoming big press conference next week. If not announced then I will grab my pitchfork and torch, until then I'm good.

I ask myself this same question almost daily now. Bellator better get their shit together.

Like I said all along.....tournaments are best in one night format.
