How is a fighter's reach measured?

    they either measure from fingertip of one hand to the other w/ ur arms spread out to the sides (sorta like wingspan). The other, and its been used more often in boxing title fights, is merely the length of one arm from either knuckle or fingertip, not too sure on which part.
