He's no Ben Rortvedt or Bryan Woo. (Dodgers back up catcher and Mariners ace pitcher)

You could wood his Pic and it wouldn't be considered homo in least it would just be respect

Can you not make a "I'm a closet homosexual (Not that there's anything wrong with that)" megathread for these things bud?

Perfection obviously.

There's probably something above perfection, you could call that Toshiruo Mifune.

i never heard that, a japanese obi wan? How was his English. I do know Bruce Lee loved his films and loved samurai pics going back to when he'd see them in Seattle chinatown theaters.

I remember hearing this years ago but thought it was an urban myth. Apparently it's true:

Considering Obi Wan and Vader were basically ronin samurai in ANH, makes sense Lucas would want the most iconic samurai actor to play one of them. But would have been a very different movie with Mifune's limited English. Obi Wan/Vader probably would have been the strong silent type like Boba Fett.

I just remember this dude being a pretty big deal back in the 70's. Him kicking Charles Bronson's ass mano a mano in an American film was notable.

It's exceedingly gay to not admit when a guy has handsome features and can handle the poon with an iron fist

It's all good in small doses, but @TidWell is lighting us up with male model threads at least 4 times a week now.

Listen, I'll rub one out to Sexyama as easily as the next guy....but can we get a few titty polls up in here?

his hat stayed on, amazing. Charles and his stuntman must have had a hard time with that scene. Bronson had a huge ego.

Yeah that scene was notable for sure. This was 1971 before the 80's karate and ninja craze and here was American badass Charles Bronson getting clowned by some foreigner in pajamas.

wow, that really is early. It's judo, or looks that way to me. Toshiro looks well practiced.

Bronson made a lifetime enemy of Elvis in their little boxing movie because of his ego. It had to be Charles because Elvis wasn't a difficult person to anyone outside of his intimate circle or family. That just wasn't him.

The first throw looks like aikido but the rest is Judo, although repeatedly picking someone off the ground and throwing them with drop knee seoi looks off to me, as does no selling the drop kick lol. But for the time period, it looks pretty well choreographed. I don't know a whole lot about Bronson but apparently he also had some feud with James Garner over allegedly mistreating production crew and refusing to honor a bet to a younger actor. Sounds like a dick to me. Yeah I imagine that scene would have been tough on his ego.
