Held the USBA middleweight title.
Half-brother of the Great Marvin Hagler

-Challenged for the middleweight world title twice.
-Overpowered the legendary Roberto Duran.
-Went to war with Doug DeWitt in two ferocious encounters.
-KOed middleweight powerhouse Iran Barkley

Mixed it up with the best of the best for over two decades, including names such as:

Bobby Czyz, Iran Barkley, Doug DeWitt, Roberto Duran, Sumbu Kalambay, Nigel Benn and Vinny Pazienza.

Where do you rate Robbie Sims greatness?

I'm one of the few on this site old enough to remember Robbie Simms......he was a very good fighter. As far as being "great" goes, that might be a slight stretch.

He is # 653 on the all time great list (depending on how the Manny Pacquiao vs Antonio Margarito fight turns out) :D

He was only stopped once, throughout his entire carrer and that was by the Dark Destroyer, so he was tough. Good fighter, but apart from Duran and Barkley, he lost to the fighters that could have cemented his rep.
