Edit, haha, it wasn’t that long ago 2012, Brown fought Chris Cope... I was mistaken, Kit Cope, was on TUF 2 in 2005, TUF fights were considered actual MMA fights IIRC, or the finale was, Kit got armbarred by Ken Flo, I guess he never technically made it to the UFC.

Sad story, I always felt for that dude, I honestly remember watching him fight and absolutely couldn’t believe that he made the 185 limit he was a big ripped dude 6’3” with like 80” reach. A fighter that I was a fan of back in the day, Dennis Kang was another guy that dealt with that type of hardship, he was a talented Pride fighter up until his long time girlfriend fiancé and fellow MIxed Martial Artist Shelby Walker died (pain meds OD IIRC). He ended up going on a long time-lose a fight, win a fight, skid, he never performed the same... just goes to show how much of MMA is mental, when he finally got into the UFC after Pride folded he was washed, probably could have benefited from cutting down a weight class-I’m thinking that fighting a murderers row of Ninja Rua, Suloev, Gono, Eastman, Akiyama, Mousasi, Bisping, Belcher, and Paulo Filho didn’t help things. I just used to wonder how good he could’ve been had things worked out different for him.

And yes, unlike Dana, he shared the $ with his artists. So much so, in fact, that Snoop Dogg signed with him while he was at the height of his powers.
