How good was Pedro Rizzo?

He was good, man. Great stand up, nice tdd. I’m afraid he was robbed in the first Randy fight.

I think the fact that you list Tank Abbott as a notable win tells us what we need to know.

How good was *insert world champion level fighter*?

shogun was good.

rampage was good.

Matt Hughes was good.

BJ Penn was good.

Do none of you n00bz go back to the beginning and get caught up on the fights that you missed?

That way you don't ever have to ask "How good was fighter X?", because you will know. Having watched their rise and decline to and from stardom.

who is the number one?

Yeah bruh, but was that Asian guy Sakuraba ever good? Wouldn’t Conor KO him with the left?

Great with a shot at being a GOAT.

From what I recall, he had some mental issues that hurt his fight IQ.

I think he even tried to get help.

He had EVERY SINGLE tool though.

He was once 1 of my favorite fighters, he had moment's of greatness but was frustrating to watch due to being overly tentative and seemed to age quickly in fight years.

His loss to Couture wrecked him and then getting stopped by Mcgee basically ended his career as a truely elite HW

Not quite as good as Artem, but better than C.M. Punk.

I did !

I bought ever single UFC and Pride dvd and I still watch them in sequence.

Its a lot of fun to go back and fourth from Pride to UFC as it was happening.

A true MMA fan right there folks. That's how it's done.

I re-watched the first 15 UFC's and the first 10 Pride's just last week.

I don't think anyone would be the same after being flattened by Kharitonov and Zentsov

I think it was Kharitonov that broke his concrete chin though. He took so much damage in that fight from a guy that hits hard enough to crack open a safe. Plus, Pedro had a habit of taking two to land one. You just can’t give guys like Zentsov and Kharitonov a hittable target. Maybe it worked in the earlier days against guys like Tank, but these guys were hitting on a different level imo.
