Very underrated veteran and only 29 l.
I can't see him beating Khabib given that Alvarez was able to hold him in bad positions, Khabin would probably dominate.
Can he beat Lee. I can see him rocking lee on the feet. Can he hang with Barboza on the feet? Tony?

Good enough to stay in the Top 5, but not good enough to be champion, imo.

I'd favor him over Lee, but Conor, Khabib and Ferguson would beat him.

He will pick apart Ferguson absolutely anywhere. He's better boxer than him, his wrestling is actually better and his BJJ is super underrated.

You could be right, honestly I'm not that much into Poirier I have no idea how good his BJJ is but I'm pretty much convinced Ferguson has the best BJJ at LW.
Poirier's boxing could give him trouble, though. But you can't count Ferguson out of a fight, dude is tougher than Eddie and way more versatile.

Not sure who is "tougher" - Ferguson or Eddie. Eddie's career is insanely long for a LW and he has been in some psychotic wars, in Japan and Bellator.
Ferguson simply doesn't have that experience.

As of Poirier's BJJ - he has really great D'Arce than can suddenly come out of nowhere. Similar of Ferguson actually, but he is more likely to have dominant positions. Ferguson is awful in having dominant positions.

He is very good, he has a chance to become champion on a good night and with a good matchup, but the division is a shark tank, can't imagine someone winning the belt and defending it for years.
