America's largest gun lobby speaks out as Trump administration mulls possible trans firearms ban
The National Rifle Association released a statement as the Trump administration mulls a way of limiting transgender people from purchasing guns.www.foxnews.com
Check me out posting Fox Lose.
Yeah, true. If I recall correctly that was the only time or one of the only times the NRA supported gun controlWe enacted a bunch of new federal gun laws when the black panthers started showing up to protests armed. It’s not unprecedented
I've been saying Fox Lose since they had to cough up nearly a billion for lying that Princess Papaya Pussygrabber Porcini Pecker didn't lose the election and it was rigged, like a bunch of morons.Don't like it at all and think it's a door that we shouldn't open as the Republicans won't be in power forever and it sets a bad precedent that others will try to use on whoever night be the next group of undesirables.
it's not a great idea to fuck around with gun rights at all.
Did you have an opinion on this or did you just want to say fox lose out loud ?

I always found the word uppity funny. Its the only time the word is used. Its like the word was invented for it.Well, there was that one time that black people were getting a little too uppity in California, so the NRA had to help craft some laws.
I think it's hard for people to discern at this point between conservatives and maga. People are just lumped all into one basket. Conservatives do this about Democrats of course. It seems like it's a common practice that everybody goes in the same group instead of having individual viewpointsYet, somehow, I am carrying water for him? I don’t blame people for how they voted. That is their business and not mine. I don’t hate people or blame them for how they voted. It is a right every American has (and some illegal immigrants, felons, and dead people when dems have their way-just don’t ask them to have voter id) one of the few issues I share with most republicans-the voter id aspect. But imo opinion, voting is a private issue unless one chooses to share.
In my personal life, I don’t discuss politics with many people. I prefer them not to know my affiliations or opinions because it causes issues. Also, now that I have students, I don’t believe it is proper to discuss my personal politics or let them be known to students.
Hell, a college professor from a community college at another school was bragging to my wife how she had a class the week before the election where she bashed harris to “educate her students” on the issues. My wife, a raging liberal and also a college administrator, said “seriously” and the woman replied “well, I just think they should know her policies before they vote as many of them, it’s their first time voting. My wife just rolled her eyes, but it wasn’t just because of this other teacher being a trump maniac, it was over the unprofessionaliam on display by a supposed professional academic when she tried to influence voters who likely felt pressured to agree or get a bad grade, or this woman trying to influence maybe undecided and impressionable students because she’s in a respected position of power and influence over them.
But my issue here is that I have repeatedly made my disdain known for trump….and most democrats as well. And there are still idiots that call me a liar. After tagging me and expecting me to say that trans shouldn’t have second amendment rights not knowing that I am strong second supporter, @Crazy Source was disappointed in my answer because he is flat out wrong in who I support or vote for or my opinion and stance on this matter. So, rather than appreciate a thoughtful response that he asked for, he calls me a liar and blames me for trumps policies and accused me of voting for him. When I absolutely did not vote for trump, his only response is “well, you carry water for his side.” When I asked for receipts, it’s crickets. It’s almost like mack yancy is back
Now that I think of it, I've never heard it used any other way. Odd.I always found the word uppity funny. Its the only time the word is used. Its like the word was invented for it.
Even just randomly hearing the word in passing....you know whatever the topic.... they are talking about black folks. Now that I think of it, I've never heard it used any other way. Odd.
I wonder if it is the same up north. Anybody from up north want to chime in?Even just randomly hearing the word in passing....you know whatever the topic.... they are talking about black folks.

I was going to say that I may have heard it used for women, but I can't remember a specific incident where I've heard it. Maybe it was in an old movie.I have heard it applied to black people, but also people of means-usually, old white women who think they are better than everyone else
Just a silly comment.Have you been hacked or something? You sound like a teenager
Have you ever read about the horseshoe theory? It's interesting.I always differentiate between the left and far left or right and far right.

Yep. That's where the horseshow theory comes into play. The far left and far right converge into authoritarianism. That biology theory is a real thinker.Never heard of that; but it’s very interesting and I have often thought of it in terms of a biological theory of convergent evolution where two completely unrelated organisms develop similar characteristics to respond to something in their environment or some challenge presented to them. The best example I have is flight, which has evolved several different times in history. Originally in insects, then flying reptiles (pterosaurs), then birds, then mammals (bats). Anyway, these things are very different yet have very similar features kind of like the left and right.
My example of convergent evolution in left vs right is with fascism. The far right fit into two categories in my opinion-the anti government types and the types that swallow everything the government from their side proposes. The maga voters love trump and he is almost a fascist dictator as much as one can be in a democracy. The far left such as antifa use violence to silence their political opponents, similar to fascists.
